ASI Groups

Members benefit from being associated with an industry body with as broad a role as the ASI has in advocating the interests of the sector as a whole and on specific issues potentially impacting specific segments of the industry.

Individuals can easily offset the price of membership from exclusive discounts on ASI professional and trade development offerings like regular technical seminars and technology presentations, purchases from the ASI bookshop, use the full resources of the ASI’s extensive library and call for technical advice when required.

Corporate members can list their business on the ASI’s searchable Industry Directory and display the member logo on marketing materials and company stationery to bolster trade recognition.

Students and academics involved with relevant engineering, architecture or building courses are entitled to free membership.

Whatever the category, ASI membership also opens further opportunity to network with industry decision-makers and like minded professionals at regular technical and social functions, culminating with the ASI’s national Steel Convention each year.

Annual membership runs from 1 July of one year to 30 June of the next.

The ASI reserves the right of refusal of membership if the aims of the applicant are deemed to conflict with the aims of the ASI.
