Search Examples

Search for words e.g. bolts:

bol will find no results,

bolt will find records with the word "bolt" in them,

bolt* will find records for bolt, bolts, bolted, bolting etc.

Search for phrases e.g. fire design:

fire design will find the same results as fire OR design,

fire AND design will find both words in the same document but not necessarily near each other,

fire NOT design will find fire but only in records without the term design,

"fire design" will find the exact phrase.

What can I search?

Access to:

ASI Steel Resources - approximately 1000 documents, images and video clips, searchable by keyword (wildcard * and Boolean operators can be used). 

ASI Steel Construction journals can be searched by title or accessed directly from the Journals page.

ASI Bookshop - a current list of bookshop titles that can be purchased from ASI

ASI Library Catalogue - the full ASI Member Library Catalogue of over 25000 hard copy and digital titles, searchable by general or advanced search 

Exclusive ASI Member resources comprise full access to the ASI Library resources including restricted PDF documents such as Steel Construction journals (requires membership and login)
